Microwave Rocky Road Brownie Dessert!

Another day, another great Pampered Chef recipe! Because the new fall/winter catalog just came out with all of the new recipes I have been having a lot of fun trying out new recipes and playing with all my new tools. I had an open house last night to launch all of the new stuff and thought you would enjoy this delicious dessert! My guests freaked on it and I served it over vanilla frozen yogurt instead of ice cream to make it a TAD less evil. Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we did last night!:
1 cup walnut halves, toasted
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup butter
4 oz. (125 g) unsweetened chocolate
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
16 large marshmallows
20 milk chocolate kisses, unwrapped
Vanilla ice cream (optional)
1. Coarsely chop walnuts; set aside. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a small mixing bowl. Cut butter into pieces and chop unsweetened chocolate; place butter and unsweetened chocolate into microwavable bowl. Microwave, uncovered on HIGH 1-2 minutes or until mostly melted, stirring every 30 seconds.
2. Add sugar and eggs to chocolate mixture; whisk until smooth. Fold in flour mixture and 1/2 cup of the walnuts until incorporated. Pour batter into deep covered baker or a microwavable dish, spreading evenly. Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH 5-7 minutes or until wooden pick inserted comes out clean and edges are firm. Carefully remove baker from microwave with oven mitts.
3. Meanwhile, snip marshmallows in half crosswise. Top brownie with marshmallows, chocolate kisses and remaining walnuts. Microwave, covered, on HIGH 1-2 minutes or until marshmallows start to soften. Remove baker from microwave. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes. Spoon onto plates; serve with ice cream if desired.
Brownie complete!
