My weekend etc . . . .

What a busy weekend! I had FIVE Pampered Chef shows, Foreplay Friday (tight & bright cosmic bowling oh yaaaa), and many more social events... Looking forward to a relaxing weekend coming up! Here are some photos of the madness..
WOO HOO!!!! What an a-mazing night!!! LOVED everyone's outfits... SO MUCH FUN! We headed to Ranchman's after bowling and felt like celebrities... Awesome group of ladies <3
Here's us at Ranchman's... My green fishnets REALLY glowed in the black lights...
Oh yaaaaa! Thong spandex! OW OW!
We had a bunch of glow sticks and made quite the impression on other bowlers and bar patrons. Everyone kept coming up and asking "Who is the bride? Who's the birthday girl?!"... Nope... Just Foreplay Friday WOO!
Here's the GORGEOUS kitchen from one of the hostesses I had this weekend in Dewinton. Love the copper hood fan and back splash accents.
It was nice to have a break from snow and cold this weekend.. The kitties were loving the sun!

For dinner on Sunday night we made "surf & turf" as a special meal for the weekend chaos finally being over and Oscar night!
We split a rib eye that we cooked on a grill pan which is one of my favorite way to cook a steak besides the BBQ. A lot of fancy restaurants will use this same technique: Heat a grill pan to high heat and then sear the steak on 2 minutes per side. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and pop the steak in right on the grill pan if your cookware is oven safe. This will lock all of the juices inside and make it a restaurant worthy steak. Could not BELIEVE how juicy and tender it turned out!
Mmmm... Meal fit for a king. It was all finished in 10 minutes! Wish we would have made a Hollandaise or Bearnaise sauce to pour over EVERYTHING!
For dessert I whipped up an angel food cake just from a box recipe but I made it in this AWESOME silicone cake pan... It ends up looking like a crown!
TA DA! We didn't even need to grease the pan which was great... I will often make two batches of banana bread and bake them both in here or carrot cake looks pretty in here too!
I made a super yummy cream cheese icing for the cake and I think this looks like a vanilla dip donut from Tim Hortons.. But tasted way better!
Here is the recipe for the angel food cake icing:
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 Tbs. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Blend first 4 ingredients gradually. Add sugar gradually and continue mixing until smooth.
